Compassion is about learning to become tender with our hearts.

And it's about the sacred possibilities that come forth when we make friends with our hearts and learn to spend more time there.

What if something greater were possible than what we see, believe, think...

We all have challenging moments living on this planet, and we carry difficult memories of growing up here.

What if our connecting with the Divine inside of us and outside of us created options we could never imagine.

That is the land of compassion. It's an opening in our hearts, a warmth that grows. It fills us up like an overflowing cup and expands out toward everything.

We learn to have compassion for ourselves, compassion for other humans, compassion for the human experience, compassion for all creatures in existence.

This softening of the heart makes it possible for our true inner lights to shine, for guidance to arise, for us to connect more with the Divine.

We are each one of us a unique manifestation of the Divine, trying to remember who we are. Everything we need and more exists as a treasure inside of us. There is nothing we need to add. It is patiently waiting for us to discover its abundance.

Every time we are kind toward that small part inside us and really listen to what it needs, we access more of our Divine essence and have a chance to share it with the world.

Favorite Quotes About Compassion...

"Our purpose in life is to acknowledge that there is an intelligence within us that’s giving us life. That it’s both personal and universal, it’s within us and all around us, and that our job in life is to remove those masks of ignorance and the emotions that block the flow of the divine within us. And when we begin to move those layers, that intelligence begins to express itself and we become more like it, we become more willful, we become more loving, we become more mindful and its mind becomes our mind.

The only way that you and I will ever do the Super Natural is by doing the Un-Natural. We have to give when everybody else is in lack, we have to show courage when everybody else is in fear, we have to show compassion when everybody else is judging. If you keep doing the Un-Natural over and over again… soon it will start to become Super Natural."

~ Joe Dispenza

"With the wish to free all beings
I shall always go for refuge
To the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha,
Until I reach full enlightenment.

Enthused by wisdom and compassion
Today in the Buddha’s presence
I generate the mind for full awakening
For the benefit of all sentient beings.

As long as space remains,
As long as sentient beings remain,
Until then, may I too remain
and dispel the miseries of the world."
